Now that the holiday season is over, have you given any thought to New Year's resolutions?
Well, congressional Democrats have, and unlike many people, they'll do everything they can to follow through on them.

It appears that the time away from Washington over the holidays didn't do much to bring Democrats back to reality. In fact, they're doubling down on two dead-on-arrival goals: resolving to spend more by passing Bernie Sanders' multi-trillion-dollar tax-and-spend package and vote on legislation to federalize elections and ban Voter ID.

Aside from not currently having the votes and greatly imperiling his most vulnerable Senators, it seems Chuck Schumer is oblivious to how deeply unpopular the entire Biden agenda has become.
A recent NRSC poll of suburban voters – an all-important voting bloc in 2022 – found that disapproval for spending $3.5 trillion dollars on a socialist wish list was at 62%.
Meanwhile, Senator Raphael Warnock is continuing the fight to federalize elections, and in the process, remove voter ID laws on the books in many states. Requiring identification to vote is an issue that Warnock has had a lot of trouble with in the past. One thing is clear: Americans support voter ID.

According to a recent NRSC poll, a whopping 77% of voters believe in requiring photo identification to vote.
In light of overwhelming public opposition to their agenda, why are vulnerable Senate Democrats like Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Michael Bennet still willing to go along with Chuck Schumer?

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “2022 is off to a great start for Republicans. Democrats have clearly learned nothing in 2021 and are resolved to continue force feeding Americans an agenda that they do not support. Thankfully, by this time next year we will be turning the page on a Democrat Congress.”
