The Archdiocese of San Francisco has banned House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) from receiving Communion over her support for abortion.
Pelosi has a thoroughly documented history of supporting on-demand abortion up until birth.
Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone tweeted that he made many attempts to speak with Pelosi. He wrote her that the “evil” of abortion threatens her “soul.”
Following Cordileone's orders, no priest in the archdiocese may give Pelosi the sacrament of Communion.

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone's move to bar Pelosi from receiving the Eucharist in churches in her home district comes as the Supreme Court is expected within weeks to overturn the constitutional right to abortion embodied in the 49-year-old court decision Roe v. Wade.

In a letter to priests in the archdiocese Friday, Cordileone wrote, “There are those who speak of such actions as I am taking as ‘weaponizing' the Eucharist.”
“However, this is simply application of Church teaching. One would have to demonstrate that a person's actions in following Church teaching is explicitly for a political purpose in order to justify the accusation of ‘weaponizing' the Eucharist,” Cordileone wrote.
“I have been very clear all along, in both my words and my actions, that my motive is pastoral, not political,” he added.
Pelosi admitted last month that controversy within the church over her pro-choice views “really gets me burned up in case you didn't notice, because again I'm very Catholic, devout, practicing, all of that. They would like to throw me out. But I'm not going because I don't want to make their day.”
Pelosi's office hasn't commented on the archbishop's announcement yet.
Seems like Pelosi would like to have her cake and eat it too. It would seem to me that some “Christians” believe that it doesn’t matter how bad a life you live, as long as you believe in Jesus, you will have eternal life. But some of them believe that if you “really” believe in Jesus, that belief will mostly keep you from following in the ways of Satan, anyway. So here we have it, a “Christian” who thinks that killing babies is absolutely fine and anyone who would tell her otherwise is trampling on her God given right to kill babies and believe in Jesus to practice her faith. If she can kill the defenseless, she would have no qualms about killing one of us because we don’t agree with her would she? Anyway, she would just send her secret police to do the job.
